Your MightyPress hosting dashboard is the central hub for managing all of your hosted WordPress sites. This guide walks you through the layout, navigation, and key features so you can find what you need quickly.
Accessing Your Dashboard
To reach your hosting dashboard:
- Log in to your MightyPress account.
- Click My Account in the top navigation.
- Select Hosting from the sidebar menu.
You’ll see a list of your hosted sites displayed as cards. Each card shows the site name, URL, and a colored status badge indicating the current state of the site.
If you manage multiple sites, use the site switcher dropdown to quickly jump between them without going back to the list.
Understanding the Dashboard Tabs
When you click into a site, you’ll see a tabbed navigation bar across the top. The available tabs depend on your hosting plan and your role:
- Site Details — Always visible. Shows your site’s core information, subscription status, and quick actions.
- Domains — Manage custom domains and DNS configuration. Available on supported plans.
- Performance — Cache management and CDN controls. Available on supported plans.
- Connections — SFTP credentials and phpMyAdmin database access. Available on supported plans.
- Backups — View automatic backups, create on-demand backups, and restore your site. Available on supported plans.
- Team — Invite and manage team members. Owner-only.
- Site Actions — Clone your site, enable maintenance mode, and delete staging clones. Owner-only.
Site Status Badges
Each site displays a colored status badge. Here’s what each status means at a glance:
- Pending — Your site is being set up. A progress bar is shown while provisioning completes.
- Active — Your site is fully operational with all features available.
- Staging — This is a cloned copy of a site, used for testing.
- Suspended — There is a subscription issue. Update your payment method to reactivate.
- Setup Failed — Something went wrong during provisioning. Contact support for assistance.
Quick Actions
From the Site Details tab, you have two quick actions available:
- View Site — Opens your live website in a new browser tab.
- Open WordPress Admin — Logs you into your WordPress admin dashboard with a single click. No password required — a secure temporary login URL is generated automatically.
Tip: Bookmark your hosting dashboard URL for quick access to all your sites.
